My friends call me 'DJ' or 'Doc'...
I've been a professional musician (drummer) since I was 15 - starting off in pit orchestras which led to my first band - a dixieland sextet,  followed  by  a  blur of   rock   bands,  jazz   trios,  big  bands, country bands, show bands, lounge acts, wedding / corporate party bands, off Broadway productions, symphony orchestras, wind ensembles, percussion ensembles, marching bands, drum & bugle corps, fife & drum corps, bagpipe bands and everything in between!!

In 2004, after years of traveling and full time performing, I settled into married life and a regular job though I still take a lot of pick up gigs and studio work to keep sharp. And I'm always on the lookout for the next big project I can immerse myself into. Check the ticker above or click on 'I Just Want To Bang On My Drum' for upcoming play dates.

Currently (Summer 2010), I'm back for a return stint with 'The Back40 Band' out of Wynantskill and filling in with 'Renee Lussier & Branchwater' from Altamont while both try to locate a permanent player to occupy their throne and I anticipate my debut with... well more on that later...

By day I'm the Micro Computer Specialist / Network Manager / Web Master for the Greenwich Central School District. In my spare time I dabble in producing, arranging, composing, sequencing, recording, desktop publishing, databases, spreadsheets and website design...

TomiJo's 21 song demo / debut CD is complete (even though I keep going back in and tweaking little things that I hear... I need to stop before she's too old to remember the lyrics). We released about 40 copies right before the Holidays and are working on getting a massive batch produced and distributed...

Next up is getting her website online and some live band experience (and she's already talking about another CD)...

My friend Gary Moon's 2nd CD 'Big Sky' is out!!

I was flattered and grateful to be asked to play on several tracks on 'Big Sky' as well as his debut CD 'Orion' from 2005.
